Choosing a program

How do we choose a whole-school wellbeing program?

Choose a program that staff will use consistently, that covers every year level, and that connects classrooms, families and the wider school. A whole-school program works when it becomes part of the weekly rhythm, not an extra.

Questions to ask before you commit

  1. Is it evidence-based and on your state's approved lists?
  2. Can teachers run it with little or no preparation?
  3. Does it suit every year level from Foundation to Year 6?
  4. Can it flex from a 5 minute activity to a full lesson?
  5. Does it include families and before and after school care?
  6. Can you try it before the school commits?

GWG HQ covers Foundation to Year 6, with an AI lesson adapter that changes any lesson's length, year level and focus. It includes a Parent Portal and OSHC resources.
